Ultra-Glide Style
The MARKET ULTRA-GLIDE AUGER features a plastic polyethylene hopper that mounts closely to the gravity box door. It is easy to clean out: Simply remove the 3" threaded plastic cap at the bottom of the auger tube.
The main advantage over the competition is that as the auger is swung from side to side, the auger spout remains pointing downward. This allows proper flow with less chance of plugging. Most competitive augers have spouts that rotate up as the auger is swung from side to side.
The unique hopper design features an under-slung auger.
The MARKET ULTRA-GLIDE AUGER is available in 6" & 8" diameters. 12', 14' & 15' lengths.
Four flighting options are available: straight blade plastic, cupped plastic, cupped steel, and cupped stainless steel (Stainless steel flighting is only available for the 6" gravity box augers).
Options include a 3-stage telescopic downspout, 60" hopper for larger door openings, electric on/off control kits & hydraulic power units.
Mounting kits are available for straight door-sided gravity boxes.
NOTE: Not Recommended for low-hanging doors.
Pivot Style
The MARKET PIVOT AUGER has been around for over 30 years. This auger has a bottom pivot pin & pan style hopper design. The PIVOT AUGER is constructed out of the same heavy gauge PVC material as the ULTRA-GLIDE AUGER. The hopper is easy to clean out. Rotate the slide on the bottom to expose the drain hole.
Along with our E-Z Swing cable system, this auger has the same unique feature of the auger spout always pointing in a downward position.
The advantage of this hopper design is high ground clearance.
The pan style hopper has bolt in wings which are adjustable and will fit door openings up to 38 1/2" wide.
The MARKET PIVOT AUGER is available in 6" & 8" diameters and lengths of 12', 14' & 15'.
The flighting options as well as the telescopic downspouts, electric on/off control kits & hydraulic power units are the same as the ULTRA-GLIDE AUGER.
Swivel Style
The MARKET SWIVEL AUGER has also been around for over 30 years. It was the original design for our steel augers.
The MARKET SWIVEL AUGER is available in 6" & 8" diameters and lengths of 12', 14' & 15'. The swivel hopper will fit door openings up to 38 1/2" wide.
The auger is a sump design where the hopper moves up & down with the auger when raised.
The advantage of this hopper design is maximum ground clearance, especially when mounted on a gravity box unit with implement tires.
The MARKET SWIVEL AUGER mounts equally well on gravity boxes with sloped or straight door sides.
Options for the Gravity Box Augers: Telescopic Downspout, Electric Solenoid Valve Kits (on/off switch or wireless), Auger-mates, and Sky Hooks.
